A necklace made of diamonds a gift from Queen Sofia of Sweden to Princess This laurel wreath necklace of diamonds was a wedding present from Queen Sophia of Sweden to Princess Margaret of Connaught on her wedding day. Made by Boucheron and can be worn both as a necklace and tiara.

The jewel was left by Margaret to her son Prince Bertil and was after his death Princess Lilian's personal property. The first time it was worn in public by Lilian was 1972 when she attended King Gustaf VI Adolf's 90th birthday celebration. Prince Bertil and Lilian married in December 1976.
